IIRC House of Miles staff rotate checking that account. Sometimes whomever is on duty can address or solve a problem directly. Or if it's important and they can't, you have an inside person to ensure that the question gets in front of Randy.
I also recall Randy saying that when he travels he no longer brings a laptop and checks email. So the hundreds of emails a day he receives are compounded and can become thousands.
I echo the advice of clear, concise messages. Add links with summaries. Make a suggestion if appropriate. And be clear as to what followup and reply might be necessary.
