But it wasn't my call.

And while outright closing it did strike me as a little...extreme, the fact gleff offered to discuss the matter privately with the original poster to determine a more suitable forum showed me his decision to close it was not a "bad" act as it clearly did not belong in Milesbuzz and he clearly wanted to rectify the situation in mutually-agreeable terms if possible.

So I agree with those who noted it was unnecessary to raise the issue here, as it was clearly not a case of "Moderators Gone Wild".
