I thought I had it all sorted. Burned my miles, just 9K left which I'll use to book a random DUB/LHR. Then I get a call today saying "would you like to go to South America on Monday?" Business class on TAM. Obviously I'll go, but what about the miles? Should I credit to DC, then make one last decent redemption? Do you or anyone else have any experience of how long TAM flights take to credit to DC? If it's a fairly short period of time (say a week) I'd be tempted to go for it. If any longer then I'd probably credit to A3, unless you have any particular long-term plans for which Avios could come in useful.
