Just an update, shortly after I posted earlier I decided to try and call the MPC. First try this morning I got a ringtone and within 3-4 minutes I was speaking to someone. Explained the situation and LAX-HKG segment got credited to my account, sweet!

Now, I am also part of the Oneworld China promotion where if you fly two oneworld airlines you get double miles during a promotional period. I got double miles for HKG-JFK on CX, JFK-LAS on AA, and HKG-CAN on KA. So, just shooting to get the LAX-HKG segment if possible.

If this works, then it will be pretty darn cool!
