And by now you are confusing Delta. I agree with everyone else. Get off the phone. This is not the crisis you are making it. I am one of those auditors who audits things like this... for a refund we aren't near as picky when you submit a LOWER expense then is on the receipt you originally have. (Although what I am really curious about... why not just fail to submit the original receipt you have for the upgrade?) But your husband should just attach a copy of the credit card bill with a note saying "delta couldn't give me a receipt but I am not charging you so it's all good"

I won't be surprised if you DH hasn't lost his EC seat on the way home by the time it's all said and done. You keep calling and demaind "refund" on this EC and....someone is going to hit the wrong button
exactly, since two refunds are showing up on his cc already for EC. Leave it alone, you are only going to make it worse. I understand that you are trying to help him but wait until that itinerary has ended, don't ever call about a refund in the middle of an itinerary. Only asking for trouble.
