I was on 455 on Monday on my way to BNA...the aircraft boarded late, then the pilot came on and said that they were waiting for a bag to be loaded and were behind on paperwork so we'd be 10 minutes delayed pushing back. About 5 ground crew then disappeared from the area after one of them turned the "no de-icing" sign from the green side to the red side. About 20 minutes later he came back and flipped it back around and nodded at the pilot, then the ground crew re-appeared and the bag in question was passed down from the bridge and loaded and they closed the doors. Departed at 2:45 and got into YYZ late and had to sprint to customs/security and then to the gates mid field where the CRJ's board...nearly missing my flight.

It was my 5th of 6 flights in the last two weeks in the YOW-YYZ corridor that was either cancelled or delayed. I'm praying that number 6 at 12:15 leaves on time, but I'm not optimistic.

It was also the straw that broke the camels back. I get that AC management positioned things to the Feds to stop them from striking. I get that they are trying to prove a point to AC management. I already hated unions, but now I'm the one suffering so they can collude together and prove their mis-guided points. And if you don't think it's suffrage, I've been delayed more than 6 hours in the last two weeks and it came out of my time with my family.

I was going to wait until I depleted the last flights in my pass to switch to WS and PD...but now I'm going to wait until the pilots get screwed in arbitration before I ever set foot on AC mainline metal again. And even then I won't be spending anywhere near as much as I did in the past two years. So long AC Pilots, hope you get less than you deserve in the long run.
