BTW AS+HA combo is also another option via HNL and gives you time on Waikiki beach if you wanted it. Too bad HA probably has the worst longhaul J product out there so sounds like you did fine.

Also don't forget about AF/TN from AKL. Going LAX-PPT-AKL. Lots of ways to make it happen just don't expect any help from DL.
