I am reaching Zurich on Saturday early morning and have a catch a flight out of Paris the next Thursday around noon. I realize 5 days is not enough to see even Paris, but I had ignorantly booked my tickets. It would be great if someone can guide me as to the best way to plan my trip.

I thought of 3 options

1. 2 days in switzerland, night train to paris, 3 days in Paris

2. 5 days in Switzerland, just fly to Paris to catch the return flight.

3. 5 days in paris, fly to paris immediately after landing in Zurich.

4. 5 days of journey between Zurich and Paris

I am totally confused as to what I should leave out of this trip and what I should see. I would greatly appreciate any inputs.

Info: (a) I love hiking, photography and experiencing new cultures, food. (b) I am teetotaler, so not interested in vineyards. (c) My trips are normally hectic with atleast 10 hours of planned activities. (d) I hate crowds.
