There was only a fee on the China Southern legs ($258 per ticket - a bargain compared to the fees on V Australia).

I priced these tickets -- they are worth about $11000 each. Who cares about the fee? LOL

I still have time until January to get luckier and get direct flights on Delta or V Australia but right now I am a happy gal.
