I know that Air Canada says that you can't check in online until within 24 hours of the last flight on your itinerary. However, does this mean the last flight operated by Air Canada, or the last flight operated by anyone, codeshares included? I'm flying from Victoria to Nagoya via Vancouver and Tokyo. 24 hours ahead of the departure of the Tokyo - Nagoya flight (codeshare operated by ANA) is a lot later than the Air Canada-operated ones. Do I have to wait until 24 hours before this one? If so, I'm worried that all the last minute upgrade offers for the Air Canada-operated flights will have been given out and I wouldn't be offered anything.
