I thought I had it all sorted. Burned my miles, just 9K left which I'll use to book a random DUB/LHR. Then I get a call today saying "would you like to go to South America on Monday?" Business class on TAM. Obviously I'll go, but what about the miles? Should I credit to DC, then make one last decent redemption? Or is a more likely scenario that the DC castle will come tumbling down before the miles post?

Would appreciate some urgent advice.
