If your business is any form of a corporation, including an LLC, a copy of the certificate of incorporation and the state doing business/assumed name certificate.

If you are a sole proprietorship, the state doing business/assumed name certificate or local business license if you have one. Other secondary documents might be invoices sent to your business in the business name, a bank statement in the business name or tax filings in the business name (although I would caution you to consider how much private information you want to provide).

The bank is trying to live up to its new obligations to assure that business accounts, which have much fewer consumer protections than consumer accounts, are being provided to legitimate businesses and not individuals.
