Yes, you should be able to do it by doing hkg-nrt-hnl-sfo for the return leg and getting a stopover in HNL. Although the downside is you're in a premium cabin you won't get long haul AC.

I was able to book a hnl-lax-hkg-dps award awhile back in F for the 67.5, even though it's over mpm+25. It was charging for two awards, but the agent overrode it and ticketing ticketed it at 67.5k so it works for me.
