I had to call AmEx back to apply my SPG account number. While I can see the stay listed in my SPG account, it won't let me display it, with the remark that this is due to a special rate.
I found on the SPG forum where several Gold members have recently reported that they had the resort fee waived as the Gold 'gift' which normally is a choice between internet access, ponits or water, so I'm going to ask about this. Also hoping for the 4 PM late check out, but I guess this will depend on how busy the hotel is. Would be nice to enjoy the pool area a bit in the afternoon before checking out.
