Why am I begging them to remove the charge and reissue my card?? I couldn't even get the woman in the 'fraud' department to give me an agent number or any way to prove or confirm that I made the call!
Chase is the best in the industry. It's doable online and generally results in the charge being reversed and a new card within a couple of days. If you are in a hurry and call the fraud hotline, they will overnight a new card.
