Wow, I did a search, and that's pretty wacky. TWA Fan 1 is right, of course nobody is under any obligation to stick with anything, but I do think it's kinda sad that on one of the world's most important international routes, from the largest city in the US to the largest city in Europe, the world's largest airline alliance (which happens to have hub cities at each end) has brought to the party *one* daily widebody and three daily 757s.

Y'know how many flights British Airways has on that route per day? Eleven. And eight of those are 747s.
