The LAX BR setup looks like there wil be a bartender but at the moment they have no liquor license so there is no alcohol at all.

When I entered, I showed my ID and boarding pass. The nice dragon was able to verify my SC membership or DL status (I'm not sure which she used to admit me) on her computer rather than making me find my card, although what was printed on the boarding pass (DM, SkyTeam ElitePlus, Sky Club) was not enough for their requirements.

The LAX Board Room is a very attractive new lounge, although the views are mostly of UA planes and operations. Seating is comfortable and not cramped. There is a kids playroom. Food included a good looking green salad and some sort of soup. There were packages of potato chips and extremely real cheese, large cubes of two types, not wrapped.
