Its because R class is actually the Premium Economy code. So if you buy Premium economy, you will upgrade to J. K class is also upgradeable to both Premium Economy and Business. But you need more miles I think.

The Y->J and Y+ -> J upgrade is still all rather new to me. Can other CX members assist?
