The lounge leaves to be desired. It is small and my experience is that at night, food is served once. When it’s out, it’s out. There is only white wine and red wine (sometimes beer) and soft drinks.
I didn’t get my platinum arrival gift twice. I got the 70€ or each time when I asked without having to argue.
Door rooms are cheap. The dead bolt could be knocked out with just a nice pull. At times I’m not sur if towels are indeed towels or sand paper.
The location is great for me however. The office is just 5’ walk and the square down the street has very good restaurants and lots of night life especially on Thursday with all the EU 20-something going out to have fun. I enjoy the place somewhat. I know the folks there now and it sort of feels like home.
hehe... you really hit some points head on. Especially on the towels.. it does for my past few stays felt more like sandpaper than towel (don't they use fabric softeners?). I too used to frequent it (mainly the Executive Apartments) some years ago and when the staff knows you, they are really friendly.
As to the previous poster, the location is great, in a quiet neighborhood compared to the downtown hotels.
Cheers!
