Are you sure that the front cabin on a flight to/from Mexico is sold as "First Class" by AS? On AA flights to Canada, Mexico, and anyplace other than the 50 states, the front cabin on two-cabin aircraft is sold as Business Class.
Yes. Despite what AA might do, AS does not offer business class on any flight.
