I was approved for club card on 4/2. I travel on 4/11. Would love to have everything in place by then.

When I activated my card last weekend the rep said I should have no problem getting into a United Club with my CC only while I wait for my UC card to arrive.
On a side note, I got this yesterday in my email:

It is the same thing that everyone saw in the UCs this last week. Becuase I applied for the card right away I was a little dissapointed I wouldn't get the same deal (I think I applied when it said $95 statement credit). However, I just called Chase and they said they will honor the promo I just got as I applied only a week ago. ^^^
