Spas don't do it for me though so I can't really comment on that, I can see why you'd prefer AF if they're your thing though. And it was the main 2E lounge but massive as it was, seating options were at best limited. It didn't help that I was there when a ton of CDG-US flights were leaving.
I think it depends on which 2E lounge you are in. If it's the one downstairs to which Stimpy refers, I agree, it's crowded and at time hard to find two seats together. (This was the lounge around E28 - 47.) But the lounge in 2E by the 51 and up gates is much better, plenty of seats, etc.
