It sounds as if all the facts had not been presented yet, though. MapleLeaf's statement that Starwood Lurker had
indeed tracked down a Flyertalk member based on information that member had revealed here is new evidence that was introduced in this case

(in case anyone has not noticed, I am just playing along). Even though Starwood Lurker took the fifth, I think it was a valuable contribution that the information contained in the witness'(MapleLeaf's) statement was presented to the jury
