Actually, what got me thinking was a thread that discussed the relative merits of a wheelchair-bound passenger flying on an award ticket either on Lufthansa or United. Thank God I haven't really faced this issue myself, except for a broken leg a few years ago - kudos again to Air New Zealand for upgrading me and my leg-length cast to business class on the trip home.

It just struck me that handicapped people would have need of specialized information to aid in their travels that normal people wouldn't necessarily have at their fingertips. Since it is the number of users that gives this place its usefulness, a specific forum where many different people who could share their handicapped-travel experiences seems to me to be a good idea.
