Yes, a "disabled traveler" board would be a great idea for a Forum!!!
And why stop at airlines? I have a lot of issues with hotels which "appear" anti-handicapped (Like the Paris L.V. where NONE of the accessible rooms face the strip - what's up with that? do they think that people in wheelchairs prefer to gaze at parking garages?)
This would also be a Forum to laud the places/airlines/properties which are truly accommodating. Disabled travelers often 'suffer in relative silence' -- because their numbers are small there are less places for discussion of recent experiences. They feel that their complaints to management are not taken seriously. Guidebooks are hardly up to date. Open and current discussion is needed.
It would also be helpful to 'lurkers' from hotels/airlines to get real information from travelers in a variety of situations and perhaps give the travel providers some empathy, ideas, or a great big "Wake Up Call" when working with the disabled.
P.S. OttoGraham, was it the UA thread about the A320s and the 6D seats which got you interested on this subject?
