Oh no...somebody with a fake id may get on a plane. Assuming everyone is properly screened, what is the risk? If a terrorist doesn't have his bombs, weapons, etc. what can he do on a plane, besides get beat down?

I'm sure the TSA will gladly waste more money buying expensive id scanners. At some small airports, I have to show my id and boarding pass to a TSA clerk after passing through the WTMD, which is 15' past where I showed it to the TDC. Will these airports need two id scanners to make sure I'm the same person I was 15' ago?
