Hi All

I am wanting to book two adults LAX-Cabo-LAX round trip on an Alaska Airlines flight using my Avios points.

The BA site quotes the Amount of Avios needed roundtrip as:

Economy: 15,000
Business/Club: 30,000
First: 45,000

This is an Alaska flight to Mexico so obviously it's a 2 cabin plane with domestic "First" class, not a 3 cabin plane

The BA call centre is telling me to to book an Alaskan first class flight it would be 45,000 Avios round trip as it's First Class. I tried explaining it's only a 2 cabin plane, so wouldn't it be the Business/Club level - 30,000.

He insisted no.

How does this work? Any advice. Thanks!
