I have issues with that. They don't offer, you have to point it out at some point as the cart rolls by. And, according to the menu, you're actually offered free wine or beer in any coach seat across the Pacific.

The spiel goes: "Coffee, tea, water...coffee tea, water?"

EC occupant: "Red wine, please."

FA to occupant: "That's not 'coffee, tea, water', sir."

EC occupant: "I believe we're allowed free alcohol up here."

FA to other FA: "All right...Jamie, you got any red wine on your cart?"

EC occupant: *sigh*

The amenity is practically an abstraction.
