Made the call and switched cards. CSA stated that the $95 statement credit would not be applied since I already have a chase card issued from the CO days. Didn't care enough to fight for it. Apparently the statement credit is for new chase customers.

I will use as a secondary card and put about 25K a month on the card. So the 1.5x miles are worth it for me. I also do not have any status on UA, so for the few times a year I fly domestically the lounge privileges, etc will be nice. I also make award tickets at the last minute typically so the waving of fees will be another benefit which I will use.
