I don't wish the Moderators to close threads on a whim, and I do not ask that the particular thread be closed now. In addition, I always believe that people ought to be given "two bites of the apple" in order to prove their transgression.

In the following thread, you will see that Jon_NYC has called me a boob. I preferred to have his insult highlighted for all to see, and I did not report this to anyone or ask for a moderator or you to sanction him with a time-out.

However, he has again reiterated that insult, and has one upped himself, by calling me spineless. I certainly can let my invective to sink to his level, but I have preferred not to do so thus far, as I am now requesting that he be sanctioned for repeatedly violating FT's TOS by hurling insults at me. If FT's TOS mean nothing, and he will not be sanctioned with a time out, for blatantly flaunting the TOS, then I will reconsider your encouragement of all points of view on FT, even those that may be unpopular. Even if unpopular, an individual ought not to be the subject of insults and personal attacks.

I have never personally insulted anyone on this thread without some prior provocation -- such as telling me to fu*k off -- now since edited out by UMGUY -- or being called an apologist or a brownose. Even then, I responded with at most a remark that such a comment has displayed a lack of social development or that the individual has shown himself by that comment to be a jackass. I have never started any personal attacks on this thread, and although some have interpreted my original post as mocking a class of individuals, that is a far cry from making a personal attack on anyone and in the spirit that has been leveled against me by Jon NYC, etc.

I believe he richly deserves a time out for no other reason than to discourage such sort of behavior from him in the future. You do not need to sanction NJ David, for calling me a brownose, is not as insulting as Jon NYC's repeated violations as well as the fact that his insult his far more offensive. In addition, with NJ David's more recent outbursts, his comments must be taken by all who read them as a tad hysterical.

In my brief search it was also amazing to me the number of threads that were closed by a moderator wherein JonNNYC was an active and disruptive participant.
