Reserved 8 rooms (4 reservations with 2 rooms on each with 3-4 people per room) under a best rate guarantee that allowed for no extra person charges. Instead, now I'm being told that I'm being assessed a porterage fee. Does anyone know the criteria for being charged this as well as whether the hotel is obliged to inform me of such a charge up front?
