For me it costs Marriott about 150 nights per year--prefer HGI for this reason. So far in 2012 I am at about 45 nights heading towards 180 this year--all HGI/Homewood Suites. Latter is because I will not touch Residence Inn--half points is for the oblivious. May do 25 nights in a FS Marriott if a lucrative Megabonus comes my way.
