We [in JER] had a fear that Tesco was going to take over the Safeway operation. Knowing their business methods [I have a family member in the grocery business] they would have quickly wiped out all our local independents. "Thank You, Waitrose".
I'm not ashamed to be middle class: why should I?
I can't be upper class, due to my birth etc.
I'm not sure how one becomes lower class, and I don't actually want to try
