Angry AS2259 today. :(

Hands down, the scariest flight I have ever been on. I am horribly dissapointed in Alaska's pilots for making a decision to fly in to known wind shears in Reno today. If this had been on the east coast the flight would have been cancelled or diverted. Instead we circled around and then plunged over and over again for 20 minutes and missed the landing. Most people were shocked they even attempted because the plane was totally out of control. Several passengers were throwing up while others were screaming. They then landed us in Sacramento instead and cancelled the other incoming flights to Reno.

To top it all off they didn't provide ground transportation back to Reno due to the weather on the mountain pass nor did they offer to reimburse for rental cars. They also lost at least a dozen bags that they claim were removed from the plane in Seattle due to weight and balance.....

Needless to say I am relieved to be safe but sadly dissapointed in how this was handled. There was almost no communication from the pilots and the ground crew in Sacramento treated all of us like dirt because they weren't prepared to handle an emergency.

Shame on you Alaska for not keeping the best interest of your customers in mind.
