The breakfast was nicer than I expected; I'd been told there was no salmon, but most days there was. I'd bought some at the grocery in the shopping center opposite, and discovered that if I brought it with me to breakfast, inevitably there was salmon, but if I left it in the room, there wasn't (reminding me of that quantum physics thought experiment where the animal at your door is either a dog or a cat depending on which food you brought before you knew).
The wired Internet access was fine, but the WiFi useless. Housekeeping did a nice job, with small thoughtful touches.
Numerous reports from colleagues staying at the Concorde opposite were that their Internet access was extremely bad, housekeeping ignored the Do Not Disturb signs, and there was an epidemic of burglaries, where someone with a room key would known, shout "Service!" and barge into the room. If someone was there, he'd leave, but otherwise would rifle through luggage, jackets, clothes, etc., stealing cash.
you're right... the wifi was crap... it didnt even recognize my login (room #) and password (last name) but I just connected my macbook air via usb ethernet adapter to the in-room wired internet connection.
