If we want an area on FlyerTalk where we are free to post whatever we desire (excepting personal attacks and vulgarities) then, IMHO, it must be totally free, and that freedom may include certain persons going on a wild posting frenzy from time to time.
Why (how) does this really matter? In what way could it possibly affect me?
There are some posters who I think are very smart and/or funny and I frequently read their threads, even if I am not particularly interested in the subject. There are other posters who simply don't interest me. I don't read their threads/posts and what they have to say never even gets on my radar screen and doesn't bother me one whit. How easy a solution is that?
I am certain that every person registered on FT is perfectly capable of learning this technique.
