Does anyone think we may see some of the long haul LGW destinations operate from LHR as well as/instead of LGW to allow seamless connections from the US/Asia as is the case with many short-haul destinations?

I'm thinking mainly of MLE and MRU (although I know MRU only just moved), and maybe some of the more popular Caribbean routes (BGI)... I'd love to see LHR-MLE and LHR-BGI.
