Because we're "bigger" then him?

Can we even "ban" avek00? Can he not just re-register with a different address and come back to annoy us? And if he can, do we then let him do the same actions for six months as avek01 before we ban him?

Or do we institute a "one strike and you're out" policy? Does that mean if I ever make another snide comment on the American forum, I'm gone because I did it before?

And if we ban avek00, do we then ban parnel and MapleLeaf for their roundabouts in the Air Canada forum?

Do we ban doc for all his constant posts in OMNI? Do we ban B747-437 for his comments in the Trip Report that smacked around some FlyerTalkers for their attitudes towards non-frequent flyers? And do we ban techgirl for making disparaging comments about non-frequent fliers a few months back that started a thread firestorm?

I'm with you 100%, JonNYC that avek00's sniping and sniding offers as little to discussions on FlyerTalk as the ad hominem (sic) attacks launched against him for acting the way he does.

I am just not sure there is a "cure-all" we can impose that will have any lasting effect outside of just acting as if he never posted.
