An interesting thing shows up on the AA website on SFO-JFK flights. Some of the flights only show Food for Purchase but one or two show Food and Beverage For Purchase. On AA.com it says"We offer complimentary non-alcoholic beverages on all flights in Y on these Trans Con flights". No where does it say we would be charged for coffee or soda but only beer, wine liquor.

On other flights it says Food for Purchase so I know its Buy On Board but is American charging for Pepsi on the Trans Con Flight with Food and Beverage for Purchase in Y? Makes no sense .
