You are comparing AC C to EVA Y? Really???

I've had loads of good or "normal" flights on EVA, 50 or so in the last 10 years; NONE of them $hitty... Both in Biz and Economy on Eva. Horrible "Fare routing" is getting asked to fly CA (Air China) via PEK in Y; I will take BR/Eva any day of the week over CA - heck I would take CI/China Airlines over Air China if an International route.

TPE-PEK; what do you expect if you don't connect through HKG, SQ to fly the route?
