Wow - that's a bit harsh. I did LAX-TPE-LAX a few years ago on their 773 and it was great. Decent seat pitch in Y (33"?) and good AVOD. Pleasant service. Non-stop to TPE from LAX which was good and it seemed to be good connections to SE Asia from there.

I, for one, welcome the addition of BR to *A and the options it presents for intr-asia flights and, hopefully, *A awards.
