I must admit I am a bit surprised that some people feel this is not a big deal considering this individual has recently been warned by Flyertalk that his Summer Vacation here could be cut short pretty soon. Plus the past records indicate he doesn't care about warnings, official or not.

Nevertheless, because I am one of those who has been targetted by his vicious comments and repetitive verbal assaults, I might not be the most objective person here. Hence I am asking for Randy to look into this. The examples you see here, believe it or not, has actually been toned down since a few months ago. So I guess maybe Flyertalk's warnings did at least serve some deterring effect. In case you are wondering, it used be F-words or slurs in French and yes they are still avaible for quotes here.

As to the issue of moderator for AC forum. Glen, you misunderstood what I meant. As I said, it was an informal survey to get an idea how many support there is for a moderator, it was a purely personal initiative. I conducted it via e-mail on my own. Since it's a survey, it just serves to get some feedback, nothing more. It wasn't a vote or anything like that. What it does suggest however is that not so many people are against the idea of a moderator as one might want to make it to believe because I have kept all the e-mails on record as proof. There are oppositions for sure but there are many who want it for one reason or the other as well. To claim it to be the 'overwhelming' majority without doing anykind of research to back up the claim is not right. I at least did my homework and have proof to back up my claims.

Anyway, this will be another topic on the AC forum shortly. I think every member has the right to freely express their view on the issue of moderator and see where we go from there.
