I doubt 7 slots is enough to establish a viable short haul operation.
So an existing player with a base at either LHR or a Scottish airport already - FlyBE/Loganair anyone? (or would BA's interest in FlyBE make this a difficult sell to the competition authorities?) Easyjet perhaps, although there was an interview with their boss earlier in the week where she said that most of their business was point to point so they got no benefit from being at LHR
