I'm very confused, is it $55 or $35 if you choose to book a rate that doesn't include breakfast?
I don't understand how being Gold/Diamond lowers your rate to $35. (I don't consider it valid to take an inflated nominal cost for a breakfast and subtract it from the already-lowest rate, if you coudn't have gotten an even-lower "no breakfast included" rate to begin with. What if you're getting breakfast for free or low cost outside the hotel?)
And per recent suveys, a huge proportion of Americans don't even eat breakfast. (I myself do eat breakfast, but I'm just saying, yet another reason why I don't consider it valid to subtract a mythical breakfcost cost from a room rate and claim it was a lower room rate than you actually paid, especially in a list that's being complied of rates.)
