When I travelled China Airlines last year, I checked in at JFK at the Delta Airlines desk. As well we were issued passes for the Delta Lounge, so I suppose they must have some kind of agreement with them.
Very sad about the partnership being dissolved, this was our favorite points exchange at Continental...180,000 points for two first class tickets to Asia. Oh well....
