I had couple of stays this month in March, and it always happened to me that 1 or 2 days before I checked in the hotels, the reservations always mysteriously disappeared online when I tried to view it at ihg.com or pc.com. At first I thought the reservation was canceled by the hotel, so I was a kind of fed up, but now I get used to it.
The day before I check in, I can only view the reservation manually by clicking "search reservation" and manually input the confirmation number and my last name. Does anyone has this kind of experience?
In the past, reservations didn't disappear until the day after you checked out, but now it disappears the day you check in. Nice move, ihg!
