Just to follow up on my first question, received this in response from my ambassador:

"Our hotel Liaison just spoke to Andy who advised that they are completely done with all renovations. No more renovations going on."
Parking is VERY expensive around here. Not sure why you may be using a car anyway. If you're in the downtown corridor it's easy to walk/bus/light rail. Same if you're coming from the airport. The light rail drops you off 2 blocks away from the hotel.
