Hence, it got me thinking... I know it's been discussed / mooted / suspected on here several times but does it actually happen (across all cabins)?

High(er)-status passengers pinching other passengers' seats that is, not just operational seat shifting...
I just don't see how I could do it even if I wanted to. If I go on MMB, all I see is what is available - I cannot 'bump' other people from the seats that are greyed out, the functionality in MMB won't let me.

The other option of course is to board the aircraft with a wad full of tenners... and hope my intended seat is occupied by someone who is easily bribable...
