Agree. Selective criteria, sometimes seemingly arbitrary selective criteria...nothing wrong with that when planning a social event for specific reasons. Many major tour companies even have "Under 30" group things where you actually have to provide proof of your age to join.
Let them have their party. Feeling left out? Go start your own. No big deal. Want it to be just United flyers? Great! Who wants to party with those VIPOW people when you want to trade sex for SWUs anyway? Wanna over 50s only party where the music volume is low enough to have conversations while you're all getting your Rachmaninoffs? I say capitalize and bold the announcement and
GO FOR IT!
Personally I consider it a tad rude to try to crash someone else's party if you don't fit the criteria they've already stated. It's
their party, after all.
If you are 40 something and think you really have a body like a 28 year old (like
Jailer used to) and want a "waiver" that bad, email the host privately, perhaps attaching several nude shots for downloading review. Just don't feel insulted if the host sez "Sorry, but you remind me too much of my father."
Otherwise...move along folks. There's nothing to see here.
IMHO.
P.S.
I only entered this thread in hopes of some voyeuristic and juicy cheap thrills (yawn...very disappointed so far). I had my "under 30" parties and relish the memories all the more as it was "just us."
