Always ask yourself would you really fork over $2600 out of your own pocket for whatever you got? Its easy to fall into the trap of taking a hotel or airlines inflated first class valuation, applying to your points and thinking you got a good point redemption.
It just might be a GREAT deal given the splurge, the experience it afforded you, what you did with the room, etc. but its hard for me to assign that numeric valuation on a routine basis...
